listen!

One day a PIG walked through my garden... yes, a pig. He was a big pot belly pig, probably someone's pet from the neighborhood who either escaped from his house, or just wandered out of his own yard. At first, I couldn't believe it!!! I mean, I live in the CITY! Yet, here on the hill, there are pigs and hawks and skunks and possums and all sorts of critters coming in and out of my garden. And I thought, how wonderful, this place where I live... And I wrote a song about a place that makes me happy!!!

MR. CHOW'S GARDEN

I went down to Mr. Chow's Garden
To see the tiger swallows in the light of the dawn
I can stay in Mr. Chow's Garden all day long.

The callalillies dance down in Mr. Chow's Garden
The mockingbirds and swallows sing a colorful song
We can play in Mr. Chow's Garden all day long.

refrain Everytime the world starts bringing me down
I close my eyes, imagine Mr. Chow's around
The worries of my life will all go away
		And I can visit everyday!

I can sing in Mr. Chow's Garden
The hummingbirds trill in the afternoon sun
We can play in Mr. Chow's Garden all day long.

Everyone is welcome down in Mr. Chow's Garden
The honeybees buzz around a blueberry sky
We can make love in Mr. Chow's Garden, you and I.

refrain Everytime the world starts bring you down
Just close your eyes, imagine Mr. Chow's around
The worries of your life will all go away
		And you can visit everyday!

The flower fairies dance in Mr. Chow's Garden
With periwinkled honeysuckled love everywhere
The bluebells ring in Mr. Chow's Garden, fill the air.

I went down to Mr. Chow's Garden
To see the fairy princess in the looking glass pond
I can stay in Mr. Chow's Garden, all day long.
All day long!
