June 17, 2000 Valencia, California Spinout Record's Night at Mitch's Java and Jazz
Spinout Records hosted a "Will Jam For Food 2000" which benefitted the Santa Clarita Food Pantry, and featured an array of great Spinout artists for a night of great music!
Erik Koskinen started out the night with his folky Americana tunes, and his great guitar and harmonica playing! Erik flew out from Michigan for this show!!!
Sitting in with Erik were Bernie Larsen and Rock Deadrich!
I went next, and was very lucky to have a band!!! (Bernie and Rock) And ROCK we DID!!!
Becky Barksdale then came on stage and blew everyone away with her BLUES!!!
Then Bernie Larsen, the guy who started this Spinout madness, did his show, with beautiful melodies and haunting lyrics.
Another out-of-stater, Brian Joens, here on tour from Iowa, finished the night with his beautiful Mid-Western folky/country songs, and wrapped the night up with a soothing ribbon.
At the end of the night, along with the CEO of Spinout, Craig Leener, we took a family portrait!!!
