No Turning Back (from "Critters") from "Orphans"

No Turning Back words and music Ché Zuro from "Orphans" listen!

This version of No Turning Back was recorded with my friend Paul Ray in his friends basement studio. We did it with a 4-track machine, and I programmed the drums, played keyboard bass, keyboards and guitar, and sang the lead and background vocals. When it came down to putting on a lead guitar part, there was no room, so Paul suggested that we record the lead part while he was mixing down the tracks. And that, we did!

This was done the summer before I worked on a film called "Critters," on which I was part of the wardrobe department, and then somehow got into the film when they needed to film a band video that was an important part of the story line. Well, guess who put the band together? ME!!! When the film was wrapped, the director (Steve Herek) called me to see if I had any songs for the 2 spots in the film that needed more than just music - I sent over this demo of No Turning Back, and voila, it's in the film! "Critters" was released on DVD in September of 2003!!!
