WHERE"S THE FIRE?

Oh, where's the fire?
Can't see the flames, the smoke is in my eyes.

Drove right through your neighborhood today,
Looks like a war zone, maybe I should kneel and pray.
But I'm protected in my bright new shiny car,
But here the skin is thin and people are scared and dying.
What was I to do but look away?
	And turn up my radio.

Oh where's the fire?
Can't see the flames, the smoke is in my eyes.
Oh lost desires
Can't feel their pain coz I've closed my minds.

Woke up this morning, washed my dream away,
Drank my coffee and went to face another day.
The paper caught my eye, pull this thorn from my side,
I've got nothing to give, so leave me alone coz what's mine is mine.
What was I to do but look away?
	And turn up my radio.

Oh where's the fire?
Can't see the flames, the smoke is in my eyes.
Oh lost desires
Can't feel their pain coz I've closed my minds.

And I've closed my eyes, I can't see anything
And I've closed my mind, I can't feel anything
Oh I, I'll miss the chance to change fire into water..

Oh where's the fire?
Can't see the flames, the smoke is in my eyes.
Oh lost desires
Can't feel their pain coz I've closed my minds.
