| About Che Zuro |
| After stints with L.A.'s Orchids, Josie Cotton, Berlin, Puss 'n' Boots, Phil Seymour, Charlie Sexton, and her own band, Trinity Street, Pittsburgh native and Northern Utah resident Che Zuro decided to do it on her own! She mixes Beatle-ina pop with the acoustic grit of Zeppelin, mixing rock with folk, pop with country, shaking up a sound all of her own. Che's work as a songwriter has received accolades in both the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and the Billboard Songwriting Contest. She has also placed several songs in feature films, including the critically acclaimed indie film Gypsy 83, as well as Critters, Graduation Day, The Invisible Kid and more. This part time fashion model, actor, voice over artist and multi-instrumentalist has been promoting her 6th release on Youghiogheny (YOCK-a-GAY-nee) River Records, Walking Toward The Sun, an acoustic send-up requested by fans after seeing her perform live. She is presently working on ideas for her next recording projects including a cover tunes CD and a collection of songs about the area where she grew up. Live Performances have taken her from the stages of the Durango Summer Festival (CO) and The Millpond Music Festival (CA) to Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort (CA) and the Ogden Arts Festival (UT). Some of her other favorite performances include the Ohiopyle Music in The Mountains Fest in SW Pennsylvania, Good Morning Arizona Television show, Powder Mountain Resort (UT) and opening for pal Don Felder of the Eagles at a charity event in Tampa, FL. |
