listen!

One day a friend and I were sitting around reminiscing about the past and an ex-boyfriend's name came up. My friend always liked the way he said the words "baby blue", and that evening, with that old relationship on my mind, I wrote this song. It's very much a "half glass full" song, dealing with the reality that some things aren't really what they seem, and once that is realized, although heartbreaking, one can move on and be free. double rainbow in the eastern sierra

EVERY LITTLE RAINDROP

He talked about the baby blue sky
And how it matched my baby blue eyes
Said he'd never let anything stand in our way.

Said he wanted to see the world
Promised I would be his only girl
But I could see something else written on his face.

chorus	Look out here comes the storm
		I feel EVERY LITTLE RAINDROP
Slow down my life's in a whirl
I feel EVERY LITTLE RAINDROP falling down...

He used to bring me roses so red
Used to carry me to our bed
Never thought this moment would pass us by.

He wrote and sang to me beautiful songs
They were for someone else all along
I never had the courage to ask him why.... why?

Look out here comes the storm
		I feel EVERY LITTLE RAINDROP
Slow down my life's in a whirl
I feel EVERY LITTLE RAINDROP falling down on me.

bridge they're falling, falling down on me...

Still searching for my baby blue sky
Since he left my heart and said goodbye
But in the light, somthing's come over me..... I'm free!!!

Look out here comes the storm
		I feel EVERY LITTLE RAINDROP
Slow down my life's in a whirl
I feel EVERY LITTLE RAINDROP falling down on me.
